1. Chocolate chip banana bread. This bread was so moist. The perfect amount of banana and chocolate. I will definitely be making this recipe again! (I used regular milk and canola oil instead of buttermilk and olive oil.)2. Baked Pumpkin donuts with a maple cinnamon glaze. Zach made these cake-like donuts and they were so good!
3. Coconut shrimp. Zach made these... he said they were easy to make and they were delicious!
4. Chicken brocolli cheese casserole. The best thing about this recipe is that it calls for NO cream of anything soup. We have made this recipe multiple times and the whole family loves it. Great served with rice.
5. Celery/PB/gold fish. Fun fishing snack that both my boys loved. They even ate every bit of the celery.
6. Corn chowder. Zach made this for me at my request. He added some chicken and let me tell you it was the BEST corn chowder I have ever had. He did say it was more involved than other soup recipes, but so worth it! (Easy for me to say since I didn't have to make it, only enjoy it:) But seriously, I love corn chowder and this recipe is the best one I have ever had!
7. Brocolli cheese soup. Zach is not as big of a soup fan as I am so I made this while he was working. It was really good and smooth, but I still like the broc cheese soup from California Adventure best. (I cheated and bought a sourdough bake and serve to go with it).
8. Brown sugar and balsalmic glazed pork loin. Super easy crockpot pork tenderloin. This was really good and we will be making it again!
9. Octopus on seaweed. I have made this hotdog/ramen noodle meal several times for my boys and they love it! Any creative ideas to make their food more fun and get them to eat.
10. No bake cheesecake. I actually already had this recipe from my wonderful SIL Ashley and had to pin it because it is seriously SO good! It is lighter than regular cheesecake and so easy to make. I can polish off an entire pie of this in a few days all by myself. It is good with a topping but doesn't need one.
11. Pioneer Woman Asian Salad. This is a really good non-meat meal. We made it twice and tweaked a few things. Her sauce is REALLY heavy on the sesame oil, so we cut back on that and increased the soy sauce a bit. I would recommend subbing the olive oil for veg oil or canola oil. The olive oil flavor just doesn't mesh well with asian flavors (to us at least). We also cut out the lettuce.
12. BBQ chicken pizza. This is a favorite of mine and Zach's. We put it on frozen dough or naan. We love to also add green onion and bacon. Great fast meal.
I have the ingredients for several others things I have pinned and can't wait to make them (or have Zach make them for me:)
