More Adventures in Japan

We have now been in Japan for exactly 2 weeks. We are moving into our house on Monday, so details to come on that. Here is our last week recap:

This is Mason's new friend Aiden. Aiden is 5 and will start kindergarten with Mason. Aiden also has a younger brother named Gunner who is just a few weeks younger than Carter, so they love to play together:)

At the bowling alley.

Our new friends, Desiree and Danny (kids are Aiden and Gunner) took us out to a local restaurant and then we walked around a bit and explored a local dept store called You Me Town.

Playing Games in You Me Town.

These are the Japanese mannequins.

Icecream...We just pointed to the ones that looked good. Mason was so excited to try purple icecream.

Kids meal toy Mason got at Gyoza House (restaurant mentioned above).

Toy Store neck pillows the boys got at the thrift store on base. The thrift store is our new favorite store. They have a great selection, new stuff all the time, and super low prices! I got Carter a winter coat there for $1!

My pictures are all out of order, but this is traditional Japanese ramen.

Eating Gyoza (potstickers) at the Gyoza House.

On base.

Zach and I are both officially licensed drivers here in Japan! We took the test this morning and both passed with flying colors:) Now to buy a car (hopefully this weekend) and then learning how to drive on the other side of the car/road.

I am just barely catching up with your blog. How crazy all the differences. It is going to be fun reading all your adventures. Your boys seem to be happy and adjusting well. Sad I missed you when you came to Utah, but I know how hard it is to fit everything in.
